Good starting point for a basic overlanding rig right there. Good machines, simple and pretty reliable.

Something’s up, though - the grille and headlights are those from a UK or Japan market machine. Maybe it’s just a JDM swap?

I looked online a little. The XL7 received this grill in the U.S.A. on 2004 and 2005 model year cars.
